TOUR ITINERARY

  • Day 1 – Welcome to Vienna

    Meet and greet at Vienna International Airport and transfer to the hotel in Vienna  City Centre. After check-in, take some time to get settled and relax. In the evening take romantic  horse carriage ride through Vienna’s old town streets and enjoy festively decorated Vienna.

    Welcome Dinner in a Viennese traditional  restaurant. Overnight in hotel inVienna. 

  • Day 2 : Vienna city tour and Christmas Markets Vienna

    Breakfast in hotel  and private Vienna guided tour with English speaking guide: St. Stephen’s cathedrale, Graben street, Kohlmarkt, Opera, Hofburg palace …. The guided tour of Vienna ends in  Demel, the former Imperial and Royal Court Confectionery .Though the emperor is gone, Demel hangs on tight to its traditions and continues to produce exquisite cakes created by hand. You can check them out behind glass walls and have opportunity to taste traditional Viennese pastry.

    Time at leisure to enjoy the festive Advent atmosphere at Christmas markets in Vienna city centre .Visit the biggest and the oldest Christmas Market set in fron of City Hall. Enjoy in live music, tastefully lit trees, holiday arts and crafts and Viennese culinary delights. Shop for traditional Christmas tree decorations and souvenirs, or just enjoy the festive atmosphere and join the locals to taste a steaming mug of mulled wine and some roasted chestnuts. Overnight in hotel in Vienna.

    Evening in Vienna – optional: attend performance of the famous Lipizzan horses at the Spanish Riding School, classical music concert or opera.

  • Day 3: Vienna Schonbrunn Palace and Christmas Market

    After breakfast at hotel  meet your local guide and drive along the Ringstrasse to see numerous magnificent buildings, such as  the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the Parliament, the City Hall , Burgtheater …. Stop for visiting Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, which houses the largest and the most precious Gustav Klimt collection in the world. Than continue  to Schonbrunn Palace, a UNESCO listed site, once the summer residence of the Habsburg famiy.

    Enjoy visit to Schonbrunn Palace and the Vienna’s most scenic  Christmas Market in front of the Palace. With daily concerts, the scent of mulled wine and gingerbread in the air, and the beautiful Christmas tree to admire, you can’t help being in a festive mood.

    Free time in Schenbrun to optional inside visit  and to enjoy in Christmas Market festive atmosphere.

    Return to the hotel and time at leisure to exploring city or shopping on elegant Kartner Strasse. Buy yourself something wonderful like a piece of Augarten porcelain or a piece of crystal at world famous Swarovski.

    Evening in Vienna – optional: attend concert of classic music or performance in Opera.

  • Day 4: Viena - Brno - Prague

    After breakfast check out and departure to Prague. Travelling to Prague we will make stop for visiting Brno, one of the oldest and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and home to many historical sites : Old Town Hall, Spilberk Castle and St. James Church. Time at leisure to explore Brno’s Christmas Market before continue our driving to Prague.

    Arrival in Prague in late afternoon and free evening to enjoy a traditional Czech meal accompanied by a local beer.

  • Day 5: Prague city tour and Prague Christmas markets

    After breakfast in hotel discover why Prague is known as the City of One Hundred Spires on a Prague guided tour. Walk through medieval cobbled streets around the historic Plague Old Town and learn some historical, architectural and hidden nuances that most travelers never heard about. City tour ends at the Old Town Square. The rest of the day is free  for enjoy the festive atmosphere in Prague and magical Prague Christmas Markets.

  • Day 6 :Prague Castle tour and Christmas Markets

    After breakfast, we  visit Prague Castle – the largest ancient castle in the world. Walk through the historical palaces and churches to the greatest architectural treasure – St. Vitus Cathedral.

    Admire the stunning view over the city’s  rooftops, towers, and golden spires. Afternoon at leisure in Prague.

  • Day 7: From Prague to Poland - Wroclaw

    After breakfast departure to  romantic city of  Wrocław –  the ‘Venice of Poland’. The city is  made up of five rivers, 12 islands and over 150 bridges. Guided tour of Wroclaw: the Old Town Square, Gothic Town Hall, complex of medieval architecture on Ostrow Tumski Island with its gothic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, the University with Aula Leopoldina. In the evening time for your visit to the Wroclaw Christmas market located at the Old Town Square. Surrounded by beautiful houses from centuries ago, the market has a farytale atmosphere. With a backdrop of carol singers and roasting chestnuts, you’ll find yourself immersed in festive spirit as you shop for authentic Christmas decorations and  gifts. Overnight in Wroclaw.

  • Day 8: Wroclaw - Krakow

    Breakfast, and departure to Krakow. Guided tour of Krakow: the Main Market Square, St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall, the Royal Route, Collegium Maius, Wawel Hill with its renaissance Royal Castle and Cathedral; a walk round the Old Jewish Quarter – Kazimierz. Evening at leisure to  explore Krakow Christmas market. The beautiful city of Krakow is usually draped in snow during the festive season, making Krakow Christmas Market an even prettier sight for visitors. Overnight in Krakow.

  • Day 9: Krakow - excursion to Wieliczka Salt Mine

    Breakfast in hotel and private group tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine. Walk through the underground salt stone world: the splendid St. Kinga’s Chapel with salt sculptures and relicts, corridors housing the original constructions and post excavation chambers as well as the subterranean salt lakes. Afternoon at leisure  for your last gift shopping at Krakow Christmas market. Farewell dinner in a traditional Polish restaurant with live folk music. Overnight in Krakow.

  • Day 10: Krakow departure

    After breakfast and hotel check out departure transfer to Krakow airport for your flight back home.
